Why are we dressed like the way we are? Normal attire going to school would be jeans, t-shirt, sweater, backpack, runners. If the way we dress were to show that we were educated people, going to university for a higher education, why do we dress like we are going hiking? This thought was brought up in my russian literature class discussions, talking about how perhaps 40 years ago people wore full out suits to school. Dressed as the upper class because only the upper class could afford to be educated. Does our sense of fashion come from our education? Those who are illiterate cannot afford to get education, therefore they are the ones who are not dressed nicely.

I don't blog anymore

It appears that my blogging rate has declined ever since I started. Sometimes I feel that I just don't want to share with the world anymore. And sometimes I feel that it requires too much work to put thoughts into words. I'll just keep them in my head for now, till I blog again.

Recipe for Disaster?

Lately I've been thinking about what I should do with my accumulated wealth, and by accumulate I mean hard earned cash from working. I rarely ever buy anything expensive, and my mom just keeps on telling me to save save save. My mom is most often right, so I just listen to her cause that's what mothers are for right? My mom just tells me to save up for a rainy day because it's always better to complain about having money than to complain about having no money. 80% of all money that I have spent would probably be on food, because that is probably the only thing worth spending money on in my opinion. Everything else just isn't as important, nor as fun. I still don't have my own car, but I only really wanted one for the summer, since after school starts I will rarely ever drive. Hopefully after getting a co-op job, I will save even more money, and then I am almost certain that money will be spent traveling the world.

Macbook Pro

I recently bought a Macbook Pro 13" 2.53ghz model laptop and so far I enjoy using it. I've used a PC all my live, and I can't say that I hate PCs now that I've used a Mac but it certainly has its advantages. I am currently typing up this blog post on my macbook on my bed, and i love the backlit keyboard, it makes typing in the dark so much easier. I only wrote this blog post cause I feel obligated to blog once in awhile, I will blog more as I have many many things to blog about.
